Ensure that your VVDI PROG Software is updated to the latest version.
This chip serves as a replacement for ST company's 35080xxx, 35160xx, 080D0xx, 160D0xx, and other similar types.
Steps:
Data Backup: Read and save the original IC data from 3 partitions (MEMORY + LONGID + ID LOCATION) or select the ALL option (ALL = MEMORY + LONGID + ID LOCATION), as shown in the sample picture.
Data Writing: After replacing the original chip with the Xhorse 35160xx chip, use VVDI PROG to write the 3 saved dumps from Step 1 to each partition on the Xhorse chip.
Mileage Correction: The 'Erase INC' button is used to erase the front 2 lines. After performing the erase INC operation, select the ALL or MEMORY option to read data for verification. The front 2 lines should display "00". Manually enter the target mileage, then click the Write option to complete the operation.
Data Verification: Solder the Xhorse chip back to the dashboard and check if it functions properly without the presence of a red dot.
