Replacing ESL with VVDI MB BGA Tool:

Step 1:
Begin by erasing EIS, then re-writing EIS and personalizing ESL, which will result in ESL synchronization.
Note: If you do not erase ESL at first and only personalize it, the ESL will not synchronize.
Both Key password and Erase password are required to erase EIS.
Obtain the Key password by adding keys.
For the Erase password, VVDI MB tool can automatically retrieve it with a success rate of about 90%. If unsuccessful, you can email us the EIS data for assistance.
After entering the two passwords, click "Save EIS data," then "Erase EIS."
Now, the EIS is fully reset to a new state.

Step 2:
Load EIS data.
Select "IR" to write EIS data and "OBD" to write VIN.

Step 3:
Click “Personalize W204 ESL.”

Step 4:
At this stage, the options "Initialized," "TP Cleared," and "Personalized" should be ticked, except for “Activated.”
Insert the original car key, and both EIS and ESL will be in “Activated” status.
Finally, the ESL renewal process will be successful.
